Montessori Educator / Montessori Teacher for a Small, Personal Preschool in Sollentuna

Montessori Preschool Kompassen is a parent cooperative in Sjöberg, Sollentuna, with 23 children divided into two departments (ages 1–3 and 3–6). Here, we combine Montessori pedagogy with strong engagement from both educators and parents.

We are now looking for a Montessori educator or Montessori teacher who wants to help further develop our operations.

About the Role

You will primarily work in our 3–6 department, where the Montessori environment is a central part of the daily work.

With us, you will:

• Work in small child groups with a high staff-to-child ratio
• Be involved in developing the pedagogical environment
• Work closely with both colleagues and engaged parents
• Contribute to a safe, inspiring, and educational daily life for the children
• We work based on the preschool curriculum in combination with the Montessori pedagogy knowledge plan.

Who We Are Looking For

We believe you:

• Are an educated Montessori educator or Montessori teacher (or have equivalent experience)
• Are engaged, responsible, and reflective
• Have a genuine interest in children's development and learning
• Feel confident collaborating with both colleagues and guardians
• Communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• It is an advantage if you are experienced with digital documentation (e.g., Tyra or similar).

Practical Information

• The position begins with a probationary period (6 months)
• Start date according to agreement
• Employment level: 75–100% depending on agreement.
• Before employment, a certificate of no criminal record must be presented.
• We will also check references.
